Incubation Model
At MILES Technology Translation Center, our incubation model is designed to nurture startups from ideation to commercialization. We provide dedicated workspace, access to state-of-the-art facilities, and a robust support framework through our IPPF model (Intellectual Property, People, Product, Funding).
Accepted startups benefit from tailored mentorship, market analysis, and connections to industry partners and investors. Our goal is to empower entrepreneurs to transform innovative ideas into scalable, impactful solutions while fostering a collaborative and dynamic ecosystem.

Participation Guidelines
1. Application Submission: Submit a detailed proposal outlining your project, including objectives, market potential, and team composition.
2. Pitch Session: Selected applicants will present their ideas to a panel of experts in a pitch session.
3. Evaluation: Eligible application will be evaluated based on the following assessment, such as founder’s background, innovation, initial business model, and potential impact.
4. Onboarding: Accepted startups are provided with dedicated workspace, access to shared facilities, and tailored support through the IPPI framework.
5. Fee Structure: Fees are structured based on actual operation cost. There are tiered fee structure based on startup’s affiliation (MILES, HKU, or external), and each startup’s individual needs.
